Club Code of Conduct

 

 

 

· Conduct yourself in a decorous manner during the Club practices and in competitions.

· Hallways are not to be used as playgrounds.

· Masks must be worn whenever fencing or facing an opponent with a weapon during practices.

· ALWAYS shake hands with, and salute, your opponent before and after the bout.

· Be respectful to all fencers, officials and spectators. 

· Give positive critiques and accept positive criticism. Help other fencers and share your knowledge and experience without interfering with your practices.

· Don't argue about hits scored, - the judge's decision is final.

· Respect others; avoid dangerous or brutal fencing actions.

· Arrive on time and be prepared when the session begins.

· Protect and take care of the equipment that the Club lends to you.

· Broken blades are your responsibility - 50% first time, 100% thereafter.

· Show pride in yourself, your Club, and the colors you wear.
